This work was developed during the L'AiR Arts Cité Falguière Atelier 11 Paris residency, drawing inspiration from its historical site where many artists, including Amedeo Modigliani, Chaïm Soutine, and Paul Gauguin once lived and worked.  For this work, a seven-key marimba was created out of the wooden blocks from the Atelier 11 floor to be used as a telegraph for sending the artist's own reflection on the Atelier 11 site. During the live performance, the message encoded through the rhythm (Morse code) of the music played on the marimba appeared on one of the walls.
