A Room of One's Own (2012)
video 16:9, black and white, sound, 12 min.
It is a portrait of the artist herself. It is about her relationship to the outside world - outside her room. Using internal monologue as the main narrative device, it follows associative leaps in thought evoked by her actions, observations and surroundings. While it all takes place in one room, it shows that what is personal and what is public are relevant by bringing together the act of doing ordinary things and protest speeches.
