The work reflects branding and consumer culture through a repeated cycle of sugar cookie (candy) making and the act of consuming it. This specific cookie was one of the most popular junk food for kids in Korea during the 80's. The cookie stand was easily found on streets in those days. The cookie itself is very simple. It is 90% sugar and a letter is stamped in the middle. There is one rule, which takes the whole eating of it up to another level. If you succeed in saving the shape of the letter when eating, you get another one for free.
The performance triggers different human senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch. At the end of the performance, the audience gets to taste it. The "kitchen," a metal structure, has two functions. It is literally a kitchen for making candies and also a live-sound delivering system. It amplifies actual sound of making in real time.
